That's about like putting full length sub-gauge tube in a 12 ga. gun with a bulged barrel .................it's just never quite what it should be.



I've got one pair of the Wrangler jeans in Hardwoods, and it's my last pair. I didn't think they still made them. I'll check that out, and Bean's. Thanks, guys.

LL Beans has nothing in those patterns either. There is another new pattern that would suffice as well, Timber by Realtree. Looks like a good flooded timber pattern.

Thanks, Tim. But, me doing the majority of my hunting in SE Georgia, I might not want a pair made of 24 oz. weight wool. Very nice looking pants, though.

I usually layer up when I hunt in the cold, as opposed to having heavy single layer clothing. Silk underwear suffices for most of mine, with a regular weight pair of pants over it. There are two brands of solid color pants that I really like. Kuhl Outsider and Banded twill pants. They both are constructed of stretch fabric blends, with articulated knees, which is nice for someone who has worn blue jeans 90% of their life.
