I've seen the phrase "Fni par Houllier Blanchard ŕ Paris" many times but I am unsure of the meaning of "Fni"?

rse Finished. Or Fini (F ni) in French; Essentially it was either assembled or marketed/retailed by. Oh, and Houllier-Blanchard was a manufacturer/retailer of guns and cartridges.

Many thanks I was just unsure why it was abbreviated by two consonants followed by a vowel or Fni. Just seemed odd.
