Dems calling for Kavanaugh to prove his innocence, on the assumption that all men are lying boors and sexual perverts, and all women are victims of that. It's disgusting, and I'm sick of it. Why not give up on Judge Kavanaugh and appoint someone else? Because the allegations are not credible. Because the burden of proof is always on the accuser. Because the naked hypocrisy of the Democrats is beyond belief. Because by all credible sources Judge Kavanaugh is an honorable man and brilliant Judge. Because if the Republicans back down this time every Republican nominee to the court will be accused of sexual assault from here on out. Because Diane Feinstein clearly just waited to reveal the letter so as to try to inflict max political damage and not because of any desire for the truth. Because we don't disqualify people based on guilt by association.
If Trump does get to appoint a replacement for RBG I really hope he names Amy Coney Barret the next day
It's a shame that alleged so-called gun guys like rocky mtn bill and nca225 repeatedly stab us in the back by their unbridled support for anti-gunners who work to infringe upon the 2nd Amendment.
It's more of a shame that they are in total denial of their hypocrisy concerning Liberal Left Democrat misogynists and sexual abusers. The sexual abuse Bill Clinton lied about under oath was not an unfounded accusation from 35 years ago, and with no witnesses. There was his DNA evidence in the form of a semen stain on that famous blue dress. There were also witnesses who heard Juanita Broderick tell them he raped her, and who saw her swollen lip from when he bit her to keep her quiet during the assault. And with Ted Kennedy, there was a dead young lady at the bottom of a pond where the drunken philanderer left her to drown.
But now these two (Billy and nancy225) are joining their Liberal Left anti-gun Democrats in simply throwing out the Constitutional 6th Amendment presumption of innocence and due process in favor of lynching white men and expecting them to prove their innocence... while not holding their own kind to the same standards. So much for equal justice under the law as per the 14th Amendment.
Does anyone here think these two would favor an FBI investigation, or prosecution of any of the Liberals on the Supreme Court if some Republicans accused them of sexual assault?

Democrats were outraged that Obama's appointee couldn't get a hearing since , as Mitch M.pointed out, it was only a year before elections. If a year is too little time to confirm a SC judge, then surely there is time now to get to the bottom of these accusations. Anyone who did one of the things Kavanaugh is accused of, one of the things Clinton did, one of the things Roy Moore did doesn't deserve to hold a public position. It's not a partisan issue. Both parties play it, but everyone here can see that it's every bit as bad on one side as the other. It's the damnd partisan warfare that we ought to be upset about, not those on the other side.

Like a broken record, if you are outraged by the use of h.reid's nuke option, why not complain about it to your dems? It'll fall on deaf ears, but you do know there're a few dems that have said that when they regain power, they should eleiminate the nuke option and go back to the sixty vote margin. You could have a dream, no matter the divide that you push or the make up of congress, they'd have to work together, eh?
