Well I was concerned that the guy doing the work was going to keep the gun through upland season for himself since he has a great appreciation for Lefevers. So I had to have the tiggers taken out and get them done myself.
I had Brian do some nice cross hatching on the triggers. Will be back in the smith's hands about the time his season ends.
Today, in Calgary the most googleable company told me I couldn't electroplate them and other options would be very expensive. I then contacted another jeweller who gave me exemplary service. Told me the if electroplating didn't work then no charge and he would return in same condition. But the electroplating did work. Took it in at 10:00 and returned at 1:00. Very reasonable charge.
