Somewhere in there the text
"... Bill Nittler, deceased, formerly of the Purdey American
repair station...".
All together a rather funny story.
It began with an obscure Chinese-character-look-alike
mark on a Springer-gun and ends as a signature mark of
a Purdey-gunsmith-craftsman located in California. His mark as
acceptance/quality mark for the sunny-boy-guntrader Kerr
of Beverly Hills.
The story could be closed if the die this late
William J. Nittler used for his signature could be found at his
entourage - child, grandchild,collegue, employee, collector...
And it would have a round end if sunnyboy Kerr could be shown in his white Rolls with one of the Beverly Hill celebrities.
