Spyros that is an interesting comparison of the penetration/power differential among various shot sizes and guage. My personal 'home defense' weapon is an Remington 870 pump shotgun with extended magazine. It is a 20ga loaded with reduced recoil #4 buckshot.
It shouldn't be a significant danger to those in other parts of my home in case I miss my target if God forbid it ever became necessary to use it. May be beside the point anyway because I do not intend to miss and there will be no warning shot...Geo
