It's clearly Spanish, made in 2003. Sidelock, decent weight, 28-tubes. Who made this gun? Judging from action shape and engraving, I'd guess Arrieta.

The serial number should include the maker's code. If I recall correctly, it's the first two digits of the number. Post them and someone who knows Spanish proof marks can answer the question.

Thanks Skeettex. Don't have it in front of me, but I did find info online about it. I'm guessing it says 03-57 on it.

If it is a MacNab Woodcock, it is by Ugartechea, made for the Brit trade. Model should be engraved on the rib. I have a Woodcock 20ga SLE with 30" F&F barrels, beautiful wood on mine with DT/English grip/checkered butt. The story I heard was that there were maybe a dozen of these imported into the US by the old Cape Outfitters, before it became Jeff's Outfitters. I found one at Steve Barnett's, but it was sold before I got to it. Paul Crosnoe had one or two, and told me about the Cape connection. The one I finally bought was at one of the Cabela's stores. Really nice gun, very long LOP but I can't bear to cut it. There were/are other SxSs marketed under the MacNab name, but the Woodcock is the only one I have ever actually seen. The gun had almost no markings on it, certainly no model name. I have found where a number of makers produced guns for the MacNab consortium. Ugartechea, Garbi and Arrieta were included. The screws were bit buggered and the stock has a poorly fit pad on it, so it's far from perfect. But...for about $1100 it would make a nice 20 for somebody.
