Maybe 6-700 Rounds per minute would be possible with a belt feed?

....To have great leaders we need great followers....
....The Republican Party will rise from innovation in the public interest: what men and women would choose if they saw clearly, thought rationally and acted disinterestedly. They won't let others do their thinking for them.... 'Great followers'? Are those the folks who are pavlovian conditioned to react to words like 'racist' and 'misogynist', or are these the followers that're expecting more free stuff? Interesting, only Republicans can't see clearly or think rationally? What a bunch of losers, eh. Good point though about dems being a bunch of independent thinkers, but never in any disarray.

Clear the decks, craig. Throw all the tit-for-tat stuff overboard. Cast the Dems from your mind into the chain locker. This is no time for recriminations to deflect vulnerability. It's over. Republicans are building a new ship of state to weather the storms and realities of 21st century America. I wish them well and would love to be part of it.

You are a part of it King. Isn't that why you are actually here... to provide support and defense for the anti-gun politicians, and to denigrate the pro-gun politicians? You sure haven't done anything to advance gun rights in Canada, because you've been much too busy here advancing Socialism and Liberalism, and undermining our 2nd Amendment. Looked up Levin in Wikipedia. Seems like some of my conservative friends. His book on the Court confirms my loosey-goosey characterization of its deliberations. Change and change again, nothing sacred or inviolable, eh?
"Men In Black: How The Supreme Court is Destroying America Levin authored the 2005 book Men In Black: How The Supreme Court Is Destroying America, in which he advanced his thesis that activist judges on the Supreme Court (from all parts of the political spectrum) have "legislated from the bench." In a review of Men in Black, Commentary magazine's Dan Seligman wrote that Levin asks readers "to identify with 'originalists' who look to the text of the Constitution and the intent of its framers, and to reject the 'activists' who construe the Constitution broadly and are more concerned with getting to their own 'desired outcomes'."
That seems to put him at odds with the NRA-promoted amendment. Senator Stevens, a Republican appointee who served for 35 years on the Court with mostly Republican appointees and under three Republican chief justices, argues for amendments that would reduce the role of federal courts in American political life; in other words, amendments to entrench judicial restraint.
Levin and Stevens, on this evidence, appear to believe that the Second amendment should only apply only to those who keep and bear arms while serving in the militia, and not as an individual right. Stevens goes further in his book, saying democratic processes should decide on the matter, not the judges, as a remedy for "what every American can recognize as an ongoing national tragedy."
All from a Reagan conservative and a Nixon-appointed jurist. We all know Justice Stevens is anti-gun, but we also know he is a flaming Liberal even though King tries to paint him as Conservative. Would anyone like to hear what Mark Levin really has to say about the meaning and purpose of the Second Amendment? Take 5 minutes to listen to this:http://therightscoop.com/mark-levin-the-...cal-government/

Last Dollar is correct about the actual rate of fire from an AR-15. With use of 30 round magazines, you would have to squeeze the trigger 30 times, and then dump the empty magazine and replace it with a full one every 3 1/2 seconds in order to get 700 rounds per minute.
Claiming that an AR-15 is capable of firing 700 rounds per minute is pure bullshit on a massive scale that nearly equals what comes from King Brown.

Gentlemen, Once again, the term "rate of fire" is not an appropriate term for a semiautomatic( autoloader). If there were a rate of fire, it would be 1. Everything else relates to the indeterminate speed of the shooter, not the rifle. Mike

While an AR-15 may fire at the RATE of 700 rounds per minute, it is functionally impossible to have it fire 700 rounds for a minute. The left seem incapable of understanding the difference between rate of fire and what can be accomplished in one minute.
