I have a non original stock on a G grade 20ga. Parker. I'd like to remove the grip and length the trigger guard to a straight grip. If this was original wood i wouldn't consider such. Wood is just okay but solid and it fits good. Also has the wrong checkering pattern cut and deep too.
Can someone recommend a smith that can do this for me?

Battle, Our own Glenn Fewless (skeleton butt pl. make) has done this work for me when Doug Mann re-stocked my Lefever. You can't tell it wasn't origional when finished. I'd use him again ! Ken

Thanks Ken.......... I have seen it in Shotgun Tech. book and Chuck H's pictorial on this. But my skills arn't up for this sort of thing. I possibly could do all but the checkering.
