You are right about the customer preference, but you don't see many AyA guns with beavertail forend in Canada or Britain.

Cased two barrel set is very nice.


When I asked for an updated quote from AyA last year it stated that single triggers and beavertail forends were both extra cost options. BTW: I believe the original cost of this cased set was over $7,000 when it was brand new exclusive of shipping and importation charges.
Again; Getting back to the original post the quality IMO of the AyA's from this period is truly excellent.

I own several AyA's and find them to be very well made and reliable. AyA does not put the model number on their guns. If you go to the AyA website you can email them the serial number and they will respond in a couple of business days with the model number and the year of manufacture.

So can anybody tell me how I'm supposed to start up a thread I have a shotgun hear that I have had for years and I know nothing about it except that it is a beautiful piece it fires everytime straight and true when I am skeet shooting

Describe it as best you can and post some pictures if possible. That would be the best way to get started.

Post a picture or two or three especially of the barrel flats so we can see the 'proof' marks. We'll take it from there. smile
