Hello all. I've just returned from a hunt for wild bison, about 200 miles north-west of Fort Saint John, British Columbia. A great camp, good guides, beautiful snow-covered Rockies, and saw lots of game, including a wolverine on day one. Attached is a photo of a four-year-old bull that I took at about 120 yards with my self-built double rifle in calibre .450 #2 Nitro Express. GREAT STUFF!!!

These are plains bison that live up there in the mountains with the elk. Yes, it's one that I built on a BRNO ZP-49 12 bore

Great job, and a nice looking rifle from what I can see by enlarging the picture. I too would be very interested in hearing more details about the hunt and the building of the rifle.

Personally I'd rather my picture posting didn't open to all the pictures in the file. Nobody but me interested in pictures of my grandchildren, I hope. I make it a point not to go exploring in other peoples picture files. I did once though and got an eyefull!...Geo
