There's a set of DE Grade Fox 12 gauge barrels for sale on eBay
"RARE SET of A H Fox Double Shotgun 12 Gauge DE Grade Barrels Ejectors & Engraved
We offer you an original set of A. H. Fox Double Shotgun 12 gauge barrels that were manufactured around 1920. They are DE grade with ejectors and engraving. And are marked that along with a #2 which might tell us they were a second set of barrels for a 2-barrel factory set. The serial number of 260261 are matching on the forearm and barrels. With a Poly Choke Co. gage the barrels are both .727. The constriction on the left barrel was .011 and .007 on the right. The barrels are 28" long and have "MIRROR" bores! There are no dents in the barrels and just two small dings in the rib. It still wears the two beads but the front one has the outer white part showing some chips in it. These have been sitting for years! And there is some spots of rust on them as shown in the pictures. With the majority of spots on the bottom of the barrels. The forearm has wear and a crack. But still has the original hardware as shown."

No they let them back on about two years ago. Now try and sell a single AA empty and they will pull the add in a second. Plus send you a nasty note or suspend your account. It's ok to sell adult stuff as long as it's not a dangerous AA empty.

You are probably right with 26,026. Stamps aren't struck well.

What a schmuck-a-della ad- The sellerdoesn't know from Shinola about Fox guns- #2 or 2#-either way- doesn't mean a second barrel set- it is a weight stamp--Fox didn't mark frame size, as did Parker, or have two basic frames per gauge, R and FW, as did LC Smith- but they did mark most of their barrels with a stamped number- 1 through 4- I have two AH Fox shotguns- A 20 gauge Sterlingworth made in Utica in 1933- 28" barrels with a 4# stamp- But my 12 grade B with Krupp Fluid Steel barrels has no weight stamp number-and are an even 29 &1/2" long- full choke in each tube, uncut-Strange!!

I wouldn't go pronouncing Schmuck-ness just yet. The location of the single number 2 (below the serial number) does, in fact indicate that this is a second barrel. The weight stamps on Fox barrels are on the tube itself, immediately ahead of the barrel flats ON EACH TUBE. The weight stamp digit is also always stamped with the number in line with the axis of the bore. The weight stamp is never found on the barrel flats. It is very common to find Fox barrels with no visible weight stamps since the tubes were stamped before they were joined and filed up. Very often the weight stamps were simply obliterated during this process.
