Just sharing some advice passed down to me about Spanish engraving of game scenes. Yes, I've been to Fieldsport to visualize the woodcock gun.

I hope your Basque grouse gun turns out ok.
Just don't expect a Pedersoli bulino.
Please post pics when it comes in.

I have seen a Garbi model that was made a few years ago and the birds looked ridiculous.
Fieldsport has one of their AYA Woodcock specials on their web site. You should look at the pictures and see for your self how one might turn out.
I would suggest getting the gun unfinished and having it engraved here in the States by someone who will do a spectacular job.
Just saying that's all.

I really like the woodcock models at fieldsport. Thats where I got the idea. What I would really love would be to have one just like that but with a grouse on one side.

Sorry, I was not thinking when I posted a Sage Grouse and you asked for Ruffed. Oh, well, it is a neat custom gun!
