Rich Cole suggested I try this product to weatherproof and improve the finish on my Beretta SP I. It did a pretty nice job on that so I turned it loose on an old Win. Model 67 stock. The wood looked like you would expect after various brothers, cousins and sons dragged it through the woods for three decades. A little steam, 1000 grit paper and a handful coats of Timber Luxe and the finish is first rate. Not factory new but a nice warm, deep satin finish that lets the grain through very nicely.
I had not heard of this stuff before - is it commonly used to refresh the finish on older stocks?
