My B-Squared jig must also be adjust twice for each stock. Once for the heel and sides and again for the toe angle. A tip I have been using lately(tip from someone else) is to put white shipping labal tape on the face of the pad before attaching to the stock. Instead of scribing the stock outline with an awl or scribe, trace around the stock with an Exacto knife, cutting through the label. Remove the excess label material and grind to the label edge. It's easier to see than the scribed line, for old geezer eyes.

Jim, what Tony said is exactly right and dead on !! He is correct about never messing up the finish on a stock !!! it's impossible. Ken
