Boys, I am a little interested in this gun. I remember when Stoeger sold them back in the 60s, they called it the Thunderbird, but I am not sure if this is a fair price. Do any of you guys have knowledge about these guns?

As for the price, he is asking almost 2x Blue Book 100% condition. But then again, I don't follow these guns.

I have had two of these, not great! Poor engraving and over all quality. $800.00 is a fair price.

Pete, yes I remember inquiring about the Honker and it was sold by Stoeger at the same time as the Thunderbird, but I did not know if there was a significent difference in the workmanship between the two guns and/or the value of the Thunderbird.

Figured here was the place to find out, and I did.
