Thanks for the kind words, my daughter who was 5 months old when the thread started is now 8 and a good shot with her bb gun.
I discovered shortly after starting the thread that the stock's forend was warped. I wasn't sure how to fix that, so I put the project
aside. Last summer, I think it was, I found this great video on how to correct that

I designed and made a rear sight that goes over the bolt stop like a Lyman 35, and made my own banded ramp front sight. I also
replaced the plastic grip cap with a steel one.


I charcoal blued the trigger guard.. Here is a link to that

So what is left? I need to pull the barrel and polish and blue that, I will wait until I have a few more barrels that I want to blue and then
do them all at the same time. It will eventually need a new bolt handle.

I sure wish Whitey was around, I sure miss him.
