Volume-two is now printed, shrink wrapped, boxed and palatalized. It should leave their plant via truck in the next few days.
Not sure how long it will take to make it to Alaska.
I don't want this to sound like a soap opera but I want folks to know that I'm not sure what kind of shape I'll be in when they do arrive. I still have not been released by the doctors to lift anything.
I started chemo three days ago and have a few months of that as well as radiation ahead of me. I'll post when I can start shipping them out. Please no orders until I let you know.
The price will $29.95 per copy $30 signed. $5 by priority mail, so $35 delivered by priority mail. Printing and shipping cost have gone up and unlike Precision Shooting I'm trying not to go bankrupt. On orders of more than one book I will only charge what the actual shipping is and if you want I can ship media mail, takes a long time from Alaska but less expensive. On orders over ten books we can discuss a discount.
A few days ago they UPS's me a few books to look over. After proof reading it what seems like a hundred times still saw a few mistakes. Overall I am very happy with the book, and I think you will be too.
I lost my hard drive a few days ago and recovered most of the data but lost a few emails. I had them down to about 200 when the computer crashed. If you sent me email in the last month or so and have not heard back from me, I apologize and ask that you resend it. I'll do my best to get back to everyone.
PS: I'm working on Vol III and here is some of what it will have. If you would like to see me cover a gunmaker please make a recommendation. I'm still sticking to pre-1940 makers.

Michael, thanks so much for the update! I think this is one everyone has been eagerly awaiting. With that said, the priority is your health. Please ensure that someone is there to help, the books can take a bit longer as needed and no one here will complain. Thanks again and take care of yourself. KN

Take care of your health but don't let it stop you from participating in life. I see more patients stop doing what they love and take all the joy out of their lives. They do not do well.
I'm looking forward to ordering your new book and someday your third.

I don't know about that extra nickel too. It would buy a primer you know...

Kendall, Glad to hear from you and I see you made it to the part of the world that you wanted, hope it's working out for you.
I have lots of help here in Anchorage, folks have even volunteered to mow my grass, my neighbor changed my winter to summer tires on both my car and truck. When the books are delivered I can call up a small army in short order. Not sure where I'm going to hid 2000 books in a house already crammed full of books.
Thanks for all the advice. I'm staying as active as I can within limits, were are having a record nice summer here and it's killing me not to be able to go to the range. When all else fails do research. In the last few days a Pachmayr take down has shown up as well as a Philadelphia marked James V. Howe Rifle. Still lots of interesting stuff out there.

Michael, do you still have any copies of volume 1 left? I would like to by both when you are up to it.
Get well.

Jerry When I heard that PS might go out of business I got a hold of them and made a deal and bought all my unsold Vol I's. They had about 400 and I had a 100 so now I have them all. So to answer your question I can supply Vol-I.

Dear Michael,
have sent you an e-mail, asking if you could ship both vols. 1 and 2 to Switzerland.
I hope this will be possible! All the best for your health and quick recovery! Martin Fuhrmann
