Need Id on old Mortimer double barrel Shotgun

I have the remnants of a old Mortimer Shotgun that I'd like to find the approximate date and info on. I really don't know much about guns. The gun was in very poor condition so I've been trying to fix it up to be able to display it.
It has "Mortimer" marked on the side plates, "London Fine Twist" marked on the top rib between the two barrels, and several proof marks on the bottom of the barrel. The end of the Barrel has either a 7 or a L stamped on the tangs. The barrel is 32" long.
