I made a BAD purchase on a very early, Baker Sterling about 1 1/2yrs. ago. The stock was broken badly in the wrist and the seller did a good job of hiding it and telling stories that it didn't exist. Of course this took place after it arrived here and denying anything during the purchase that the gun was anything, but as it left the factory.. Long story short, I gave up and trying to get the seller to do the right thing. I just sucked it up and sent it to Stockfixers to get it right. I got the call. She is finished and headed home. The original bluing on the gun is really good, but because of that stock I have never shot her. I can't wait...........How long does it take for a truck to get from Wy. to Ohio?

A true sign of mental illness is any gun owner who would vote for an Anti-Gunner like Joe Biden.

No, it popped up on Fleabay of all places and I jumped on it as the seller responded right away from with answers to the questions I had. The auction was withdrawn by FleaBay real quickly. Though I have bought many guns on Gun(breaker). The experience can be the same. You have a seller out to get your money and has no integrity, you are screwed. No one on the gun auction sites will help you, you are on your own! Caveat Emptor

Dave, Good luck with it, hope you shoot it well. That's a long time to have the gun out for repair, but then I have two guns that have been out over two years each. Quality work takes time. Check the chambers, probably 2 5/8" unless they were lengthened.
