Completely OT, but there is a railway siding just outside Bouse on the old Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe railroad (alongside Interstate 95) called Utting Siding (my surname is Utting). Photo is me at Utting Siding earlier this year. I believe it is named after a Charles Utting, a deputy US marshal based at Yuma, who may be (I'm still investigating) related. Between '65 and '68, I was a kid on Yokota AB. We would occasionally take a family trip to Atsugi and Yokohama for their PX. Atsugi was where we settled on shopping for the bigger ticket items like bicycles and cameras. (big for a NCO with 4 kids). I believe movies were free on Atsugi compared to the high price of 15 cents on the Air Bases. Funny...40 some years later, I'm working with two guys raised on/around Atsugi.

I'm stationed at Yokota AB now. I'm one of 13 Marines on the base. I'm sure it's changed alot since you were here. I shoot skeet one or twice a mont hat Camp Zama - which is next to Atsugi. My neighbor graduated high year 20 years ago.
