Ballistix, has done more restoration than most of the voyuers and posters that frequent these pages have done.
But his checkering man who is formerly the top man at WC Scott is without doubt probably the finest exponent of wood scratching there is. He actually prefers you to supply your wood in a finished state except for the checkering. That is what he wants, that is what he gets, otherwise you may have to find another checker.

Thanks mate!

Here are some photos of the woodwork after the checkering work. REALLLY pleased with it. I'll be putting the gun together over the weekend..then will matt back the glossy finish to a more appropriate "Wild" finish.
