Has anyone ever seen a Prussian Charles Daly side-by-side double rifle?

Check it out:

Quite interesting. Pre-1910 with square crossbolt and possibly slanted. Note 200 pre-rifling bore stamp, 7.25mm. Robert Schlegelmilch was the barrel knitter. Are Lindner's marks present?

Kind Regards

I didn't see any Lindner marks. But I have only seen pics.

They told me it's a 30-40 Krag. That's all I know.

All the Lindner elements like overhanging and intercepting scears, forend bump, etc. are present so I would be surprised if the crossed pistols are not present.

Something I just noticed --- the bbls have split, ejector-style extractors, but the forend doesn't have any ejector work.

Bbls:

Forend:

And the blade site on the rib looks like someone else's work, done at a later date.

I'm beginning to think that there's something up with this gun...something's not right...

True it has been monkeyed with either at Daly, A&F, G&H or the front porch. Maybe some wear issues on the tubes?

Kind Regards

The serial #s on the action and forend match - 1305.

The # on the bbls looks like 1365.

And the vertical marks on the bbls look like some work was done recently.

Utah-

Thanks for the info. Do you mean people here?

Or is more being said or posted about this gun somewhere else?

Thanks
