Depending on how the barrels check out she is probably worth quite a bit.

For comparison:

This one has been up for a while. I think it's worth closer to $12,000.

The dent is nothing--a good smith can take it out so you won't notice. The non-original recoil pad takes $$ away, especially if the stock has been cut. As is, a dealer might give you $5K for it. For cash at a show, look for $6-7K if you want to move it, $8K if you don't care. A dealer would either put the correct buttplate on if the stock hadn't been cut, or put a period correct Silvers pad if it had, and try to move it for $10K. It might sit there for a while at that price. As a shooter, the competition is the Parker Repro 28's that are selling for about $5500 all over the place. With a cut stock, there isnt much additional collector value. Good luck.

Length of pull is 14 1/2 from front trigger, length of pull from front trigger to end of wood is 13 5/8. Bill

Many stock Parkers are 14" to the end of the wood, 14 1/4 with the dogs head buttplate. A few are shorter, fewer still longer. Look and see if there is a widows peak indentation at the top of the heel. If not, it has been cut. Better pictures of the Parkerites' sensitive areas (barrel keels, watertable, flats, boltplate, mullered checkering, etc.)would allow a more thorough analysis.

That stock may not have been shortened (much) but it has been cut. Whoever fitted the pad squared up the butt to simplify pad installation, so an original butt plate will never go back on properly.
