peters, here's your correction. They did indeed once make a 3 inch 16ga. I have one.

Tinker, let me know when we are going to start the ball rolling. I'm off on a 2 week moose/caribou/bear hunt starting the 31st of August so I won't be in touch until the 14th of Sep.

Thanks Mike-
I'm envious. I really need to get a good hunt planned into the next year. Canada and Northern Territory, Australia are high on my list.
Canada is much closer.
Let us know how your trip goes.
Between now and when you return, we'll have ample time to bicker over what color and print to set these things up with.
Perhaps a poll...

If you want a particular 16 ga. length, Midway has a sale on brass hulls in 12,16, and 20 ga. $13 for whatever the package is - forgot quantity. If you have a lathe this is easy to turn to a specific length.

This is a new thread for me, but talk of getting in on a bulk order of 16 gauge paper hulls sounds good to me.
I don't know how many I would want, but for sure, I would like to get in on any order.
Whatever length doesn't really matter. I can trim them on the bandsaw just like I do the plastic hulls I use now.
