For those interested an unusual item - per H&H less than six
were produced. For now a brief description - pics. to follow
( next week when my kids come for Christmas ) I have no clue how to post pics. Northwood - 27 1/2" barrels, ejectors, brass front bead, concave raised rib, tiny case colored scalloped action having full coverage fine English scroll engraving in Arabesque patterns. Double trigger, checkered 22 lpi. straight stock, French Walnut, 14 1/2" pull over checkered butt. 3.85 lbs., chambered 2 1/2". Manufactured in 1959 and in a letter signed by David Winks of H&H, he states " less than six " of these shotguns were ever made. S/N 37021 - condition 98%.

As I said will pos some pics. next week if there is any interest in seeing this little beauty

I'd love to see those pics. I'm becoming a dyed-in-the wool .410 hunter. So far, this season, I've shot exclusively .410 for all my quail and dove hunting..."and loving it" to paraphrase Maxwell Smart.

My .410 shooting this year has been with this old gussied up Lefever (Ithaca) Nitro Special and a Win 42, 28" full choke plain barrel.

I'm actually considering my next .410 gun.

Here's the Lefever.

I enjoy shooting birds with a four-ten but I don't know how well I could do it with a 3 3/4 pound gun. Still, I'd love to be in your position and have the opportunity to try. Looking forward to seeing the H&H.

I had the opportunity to purchase one of these guns complete in a capaign case labeled Montgomery. Very nice gun and as light a specified. Gun was less than the condition of your gun and I just didn't have a need for a 410, so i passed. Pics will be nice to see.-Dick

I wish I had made note of the website I came across that featured an H&H .410, although the asking price surely stuck in my memory - $98,000.00
