Looking at one that shows CC and for some reason it was my impression that the frames were blued. I am not sure it is a Paragon as it is not marked. A beautiful shotgun. Tom

Very late Baker Gun and Forging Co. Paragons , as well as the Folsom made Paragons, were Blued. The majority of the Baker Gun and Forging Co. guns were color case hardened.

Mike, thanks. If that is a Baker SST, it is unusual. Setting the selector to the right barrel first, then the second pull fires the left . But if you put the selector on the left barrel first, after firing the left, you must change the selector to the right to fire that barrel. The triggers do seem to work ok, if well cleaned and oiled.
