By now some of you know that our brother Ben Shelor has had a severe stroke/strokes and is still in ICU after two weeks. Things do not look good for him. All test to map/find cause of stroke have been exhausted and he is being transfered to U/Va. med center where perhaps more advanced med. treatment will be available to him.
I'm one of those guys who holds a belief in "God" and therefore also in prayer. Please me in including Ben in your thoughts and prayers! He needs all the support he can get ...... Thanks.

Ken, as you probably already know I'm a lot more of a spiritual person than a religious one.
But in Ben's case, I've been praying for his recovery every single day since Biddie told me. He has been one of my best friends in recent years and I feel for him greatly.

I was sorry to hear the news about Ben's illness. We've never met but we have communicated on occasions.
I'm not a religious man, I never have been. It's purely a personal thing, so I hope no one will take offence if I say, I hope your god is with you and your family Ben.

Hi Mr. froggy ---- I'd like to know something too. The last note I got from Mrs. Biddy stated that they were going to move him to UVA. Since then (about a week or so ago) I haven't received any info. Thanks for remembering him in your prayers, He's going to need all the help he can get !
