Thanks JC, as always.
They "discovered" this new Sabatti DR on another forum lately so I tought I would find the picture I took back in March 2008 and show it here. Not a Rigby, but not a bad one either.
With kind regards, Jani

Jani, as always, you are more than welcome. Could not get the picture to post directly though.

I'm pretty sure that won't be a standard option.

We guys like to see variety and diversity. We also like to see an opportunity to buy a 600NE DR without selling the house first. I do own a Sabatti DR (o/u). The reason I bought it was that at the time it was the only one I could afford. Fits me nicely, shoots as it should, reliable so far. But I have hard time accepting its aestetics and will probably sell it sooner or later (especialy now that I found a vintage Merkel of similar configuration). Nevertheless IMO Sabatti doubles are good, very god guns for the money. With kind regards, Jani

I have not been able to identify the critter. It looks like a cross between a runt dragon and a mule. Close up JC P.S.: Still cannot post photo directly (?).

To me the lever creature looks like an artist's attempt at creating some kind of exotic African plains game specimen. Not a very good match to the Germanic oak leaves on the action. -Jani
