Once again, I am new here but was told this is the place to ask this question.
I had purchased a M1 Carbine some time ago. At the time I didn't care who made it, but knew they were just a fun gun to shoot. A bit older and somewhat wiser (I hope) I would like to know some info on the manufacturer. My M1 does not have any markings what so ever except by the rear site saying "4195" and on the safety button which reads "M" and then "WA" in a smaller stamping. I took it apart and it said "Ermas M G 30cal M1" On the hammer it is stamped w/a large "E". I heard of Erma from Germany but didn't see anything that said they built a .30 cal carbine. Any thoughts? Thanks for ANY help.

I don't think a semi is allowed on the site but you might post in the last topic Misfires Forum/thread. But Krieghoff did make a semi auto and I'm curious if a question on it could be asked?
