Some guys have bird boys, some have bird babes. She's just carrying out the birds and gun for her hunter. He's back at the lodge turning up a glass and tellin stories.

My son's a graphics designer, and he says never believe what you see on a cover, they are all touched up, she might not even be real. As for the mallards, mounted, not a feather out of place and they might also be computer enhanced and placed there.

JDW has it pegged. Not an actual photo. Computer generated.

Her head is too small for her body, even given layers of clothes. Look at her huge hands, even allowing for gloves. Compare her slight facial bone structure with the large body. The gun also contrasts unrealisticly with her head size. Phoney baloney.

Reminds me of the old style fashion drawings, where the models all had tiny heads.

Lately, there seems to be a need by magazines and TV shows to include women. They all seem to be 30 yr olds with model good looks and great bods. 'Works for me, personally. Just don't let your wives watch those shows. They'll get the impression all women hunters are like that and then they'll want to go on all the hunts just to keep an eye on you.

I went just to look and must say it would take more than a six pack. I would say at least half liter of Zubrowka.
This issue wasn't worth buying.

What else is new? I bought ONE issue, based on the strength of an English Setter photo on the cover. Was at an airport, desperate for something to read on the plane. Wasted money. Magazines aren't cheap anymore either...

One has to pick and choose as those mags are expensive. The only affordable one around here is The Virgina Sportsman. It's a good magazine too with articles on all sorts of sport (shooting, fishing, sailing, pony riding, wine festivals,......)

That cover picture is a whole lot more believable than the front page color photo of John Kerry emerging from a Boardman, Ohio cornfield carrying a gun and a dead goose that appeared in the Youngstown Vindicator a few weeks before the 2004 election. I kind of thought that one was a Democrat I.Q. test. We should be about due for a photo of Obama and Biden carrying guns and wearing camo.

A true sign of mental illness is any gun owner who would vote for an Anti-Gunner like Joe Biden.

I agree it's much better then pics of Kerry with SxS or Bush with Weatherby? O/U prior to last election. Quite honestly, she isn't a "babe" that some here portrayed her to be.
