Same old choices... which end of the constitution do you want to see eroded, and what freedoms do you wish to surrender?

I couldn't agree more. In their current iterations, BOTH major political parties hate the Constitution - they just hate different parts - and both are constantly trying to neuter the parts they don't like. They take an oath to uphold it, then spend their entire political careers trying to destroy it.

I think the issue of a pregnant daughter IS an issue. Obama might say let's lay off of this but you can't tell the voters that. I think it could be a BIG issue with many people. We will have to wait and see.

Impossible. Cheney's gay daughter was a HUGE issue - to the media. The voters couldn't have cared less. Palin's otherwise normal 17 year old daughter is marrying the father and keeping the baby. It's a non-issue that the media is trying to turn into a scandal because they back Obama. Dumb, because the tactic of exploiting the kids of politicians for political gain actually offends the electorate. Obama is smarter than I thought he was. He's distancing himself from this because he knows it will backfire. It's a non-issue as it is, but if the media continues trying to make a big deal out of it, it will actually help Palin, not harm her.

Again, Cro-Magnon man was simply early humans...no difference. We have in the past few months defined the genome of Neanderthal DNA and we never interbred with them. They were a closed line. They had the exact same FOX2 genome as we AND the hyoid bone so they could speak. Since we had the exact same FOX2 DNA (required by brain for speaking), our immediate ancestor, Homo Heidelbergensis (also known as Rhodesian man) must have also had it and likely could speak. Interesting stuff

Getting back to modern times, we have McCain/Palin versus Obama. Obama is a anti-gun, anti-white, anti-Christian Marxist socialist. If you do not vote, you are voting for him.

No difference from what Pete? Neanderthal Man? Some of the monkey like creatures like Lucy that is purported to be our common ancestor? Cro-Magnon Man is virtually indistinguishible from any caucasian walking the planet today. Is this true of Neanderthal or any of the other purported "common" ancestors?
Something is seriously wrong with this picture and to me this creates a major gap in the "We all evolved from a common ancestor in Africa theory".

Couldn't agree with you more on your last point though.

Since the subject is McCain's choice, it wouldn't surprise me if he drops her, which would be a serious blow to his judgment.

Small Town Ms. Palin and her unknowing daughter at just seventeen. By the time she was two she knew how to watch out for Bears and moose. By ten I would assume she had cold weather skills that would put the traveling big game hunter to shame. She would also know how to run a fishing boat to feed the family and make money can food for winter and tell a good firewood tree from a poor one.At seventeen in Alaska she knows more of life and death than the average 30 year old in the lower 49.Kids grow up quick in Alaska and can't be compared to the youth we have down here.

All of this criticism is BS! So, her husband got a DUI 20 years ago, so did I. Her daughter got pregnant without being married, so did mine. She tried to get a trooper fired cuz he pissed her of, what good is power if you dont use it? SHE IS NORMAL fer Chris sake...One of the very few in this election mess....Got my vote, and since McCain is on her ticket, he gets it too....
