Personally I try to buy American made components for reloading to support that industry. I had to buy Fiocchi primers for the foreign cases that I was reloading. I can do just fine with the Alliant powders and American primers even if they cost a little more. They cost more because the Americans that make them want a decent wage and bennefits just like you guys. All an antigun politician needs to do is persuade the Chineese to manufacture components then sell to us cheap. Remember the cheap Chicom 7.62x39 @$90 for 1440 rounds? We will get addicted to this as though it were dope. Our American companies will fold and then the antigun President only needs to sign an order to prevent importation. If you think American made primers are expensive now you had better hope that the picture that I just painted does not happen. It has already happened to some exstent with shotgun shells. Cheap imported shotshells have caused Winchester to stop making the good AA case and had to cheapen it with the HS hull. Hell, with the price of those cheap imported shotshells who needs to reload anyway! Who will we have to blame? ourselves!

Same thing happening here in Australia, Winchester is pushing up the prices of shells every second month along with powder, primers, wads, and shot. many shooters are resorting to european shells and components, some good primers available here are Nobel Sport, we have our own powder manufacturer ADI which so far has not joined the clamour for greater profits, Its all about good old fashioned greed, last time Winchester got on this band wagon back in the 1980's we say an expolsion in imports and i can't wait for this to happen to the B-turds again.
