Regarding the cross the channel relations we discussed prior to the Phoenix-like rebirth of the board-I haven't figured out how to make the personnel Email work here, as of yet, and if you could be so kind as to reply to me at tedjs@usfamily.net, we might continue the discussion. Thanks in advance, Best, Ted

Don't know how it works yet either, but try putting your email address in the "public email address" box in your profile accessed through "my stuff" at the top of the page... Hmmm, no that doesn't seem to work. I'll try to reach Dave on this and get back to you.

I sent a PM by using the search feature, to search for the person's screen name. A number of his recent posts came up, and I clicked on his name on one to get the PM screen.
I'm sure there's a better way but this gets it done until we learn the best one.

Well, when I hit the search button with his handle, I got zip, nada, nothing. I'll keep playing with it, but, it is a time bandit with no results as of yet. Hope he still pops in from time to time... Best, Ted

You have to mis-spell chisels like Mr T does So if you search for crossedchisles instead of crossedchisels you will find him!

DT, Thanks. I sent a private Email prior to reading your post here. My learning curve with the new board seems stunted. Green oak isn't much good for burning, either. Best, Ted

It appears to be that for PM's one goes to the name that is shown [the originator's name of either the threa or a response]to the left with the line under it. Put the cursor there and double click it, you should get a PM box to work with. For looking at or reading your older PM's go to the 'my stuff' shown at the top o' the page. Hope this helps.

When I click on the "My Stuff" thingy, I get, well, nothing. DT hadn't posted anything in a bit, so, I couldn't click on his name. I did get through, it just wasn't as simple as in the past... Best, Ted
