anyone ever heard of the above maker? had a look at one today seems well made looks to have ejectors but was told it was a split extractor? semms a little strange to me price was right it is a straight hand stock with sunken side panels and teardrops it has 72cm barrels no engraving but lock screws on the pins on the action (it is a boxlock) it feels nice just seems a little high for me but it might be how a game gun is supposed be

smlekid: I once owned a quite nice Gervais sidelock. As I recall, the gun was built in Antwerp ("Anvers") but marked "Jules Gervais," and with a Swiss address ... I can't remember the city, but might still have it in my notes. I decided Gervais must have been a Swiss between-the-wars version of Abercrombie & Fitch or something. TT

Split extractor . . . sound to me, suspiciously, like non-functioning ejectors.
