Last dollar,
Great shot. Mind if I use it in the newsletter some time?

My wife, Diane ,and I run a B&B for hunters, here in NW Kansas. Most of our guests, by design, shoot double guns. We were fortunate, for this years opener to have some Lefever lovers. The "E" on the left was featured in Elliott's book, a very fine ejector model, and currently belongs to Mark Gruber of Santa Fe, NM. The "E" 10 bore in the middle, about which I have taken some razzing in this forum, is mine. I use it about every day, harvesting 21 roosters and 3 coyotes so far this season. The "G" on the right, a clean, pure untouched gun, belongs to Joe Wood, of Amarillo Texas. A great group of guns, and a great group of hunter/guests. Rich, I would be pleased and proud if this shot appeared in the newsletter.

Last Dollar,
Many thanks. Please email me your mailing address, so I can send you a copy of the newsletter with the "lunch break" photo. Also, anyone from NW Kansas who can get that many Lefevers together for a day in the field is welcome to join LACA. We run a really exclusive club, but there's room for Last Dollar. My grandfather was growing up in Leavenworth just about when Uncle Dan came out with his first automatic hammerless. How far is Leavenworth from you? One of these days I'll get out there.

Chuck (Last Dollar), thanks for the hunt. We did have a great time with our old wornout Lefevers, didn't we. That 10 bore of yours really reached out and touched 'em, especially with the magic bullets I reloaded for you. I really appreciate the effort you and Diane put into the hunt. Hopefully we'll do it again--maybe the wind won't be blowing gale force next time.
