Can anyone tell me of any fine gun rooms in the Naples / Ft Myers region of Florida? As well as recommend any clubs in the same area? Thanks!

Interest in gun rooms would be more for SxSs. But would also be interested in where to find K, P, B, CG guns.

Interest in clubs would be more towards 5 stand or SC, but if none around then skeet / trap is fine.

Looking on behalf of a family member who recently bought a winter place down there.

Thanks!

Dave Riffle in Fort Meyers(daverifflegunsales.com) always seems to have a bunch of nice guns, but the one time I called, he sure wasn't interested in talking, and didn't seem interested in having me come to his shop, unless I had money in hand for a specific gun

Port of the Isles Gun Club is located between Naples and Everglades City on US 41 (Tamiami Trail). They shoot Trap and Skeet. There is a club over near Homestead that I'm told shoots Olympic Skeet. There are a few other clubs in the Ft. Myers area but I would have to make calls to locate them.

As far as Gun Rooms, Dewings is located at West Palm Beach which makes it a day trip. On North up the east coast to Vero Beach is duPont/Krieghoffs new store. But back in Ft. Myers the only Dealer of Fine Guns I am aware of is Dave Riffle. http://daverifflegunsales.com/

Your family member is welcomed to give me a call (438-7403) when he is in this area. If he cares to hunt I can show him some decent WMA ground that might make him happy. There are also some pay hunts nearby.

Though it is a bit of a drive back to the east coast of Florida, it would certainly be worth your time to visit Dewings Fly & Gun Shop in West Palm. http://www.dewings.com/

They have more in the way of high end field guns than clay guns, but it is still a great spot to shop and worth the trip.

As to places to shoot, check out your area on:
