I have a non-discript double barrel muzzleloading shot gun which I am using for parts. The barrel breech threads look okay but the breach plugs look like they were threaded by hand with a file.

The barrels were proofed in Belgium and the breach plugs appear to be M18 x 2 metric fine. I am looking for some metric bolts to use to made new breach plugs but unfortunately this is not a common size.

I am looking for a source for such bolts. I have searched the net but have not found them yet. Who would carry such bolts?

You could try a BMW or Mercedes Importer but better still get them made by a friendly machinist.
