I acquired a Steyr 16ga SXS model 1090E. This model has a selector in the forearm that can change between ejector and extractor. Pretty cool.
The good news - I got it for under 250 and the action is vault tight and the barrels are uncut and ring just beautifully.
The bad news - it does not have a buttstock and is missing the lever main spring.
This gun looks a lot like any number of Germanic guns so I am thinking he main spring may be a common enough thing although the gun itself is pretty uncommon.
Anyone have suggestions on how to go about getting the spring or have any schematics or familiar enough with this model of gun to help me with full take down?. I am going to restock it unless I can find a stock that is for this gun(doubtful) or one similar enough that I can use it with mods.
