When last I spoke with Joanna back in Sep. of ‘22, she told me they hoped to have the last I&R ready for this Christmas. I was about to call and check on progress when I received their mailing yesterday with the word that it’s now available for ordering. Pre-pub pricing is $135 and is good until 1 Mar ‘24.

(Now I just need my wife to ask for a Christmas “hint”)

Thanks for the heads-up. I have not received the mailer yet, but I'd like to add the third index to complete the DGJ collection.

Be nice if they would credit what was left of subscriptions when they closed shop....

They said they would. I have $33 left over that I’ll be applying to my order.

Do we know if the Index in Volume 3 will cover all the issues or simply those not covered by Volumes 1 & 2?

Having a complete Index in one place would be like the Swiss flag - 🇨🇭- a big plus.

Vol III will cover DGJ’s published 2006-2022.

Looking back at Vol I & II plus their projected length for Vol III, an all-in-one would be over a 1000 pages - a big plus indeed.

I wonder if it would be viable for them to do a softcover combined Index only (as Handloader and Rifle used to)?

My plan is to get Volume III while it is available and then worry about the format later. According to the page count, the new volume will be almost as big as the other 2 combined. Even with a paperback format the combined volume would likely be pretty cumbersome.

I got the flyer yesterday, they said the index will cover the final 15 years, from 2006 - 2022(61 issues). It will be a thick book, they estimate between 450 to 500 pages.

I received my order form for it today. Actually, I will be ordering both volumes two and three at the same time. I hope they still have some copies of volume two on hand. If and when I receive them both I'll have lots of reading to catch up on.

May God bless America and those who defend her.
