Mike, very interesting video.

I know that with a muzzle loader for safety you should cap after charging.

With these adapters I would be inclined to follow usual metallic cartridge practice and cap first, and then charge the case.

With a muzzle loader the charge is contained within the barrel of the gun, and can be pointed in a safe direction while you cap up.

With these, if you have an over-sensitive cap go off on capping you don’t want to be holding the charged case at the bench.
