Not "fine" guns but much better than average. The M37 is from 1939 (pre-WWII) so it looks more like an M17 Remington, in 16 gauge with the (evidently) rare IC choke on a 26-inch tube. Shockingly-light for it's dimensions. The M12 is a 20-gauge from 1953 (so it has the later, better, revised stock geometry and LOP) w/a 28-inch full choke tube. Both are well-used but clean, original, unmolested, and... ready to go hunting. There is a repaired crack on the head of the stock on the M37. $500 each, plus S & H to your FFL. Colorado's brand-new gun laws are troubling me today, so these old girls need to go now (to fund my next gun project). Contact me here if interested. Pictures and more data available upon request.

Lloyd- a 28 inch full choke tube- do you mean a 28" full choke barrel, or does this M12 have choke tubes installed, like Brileys?? RWTF. I have 2 older M12's in my arsenal, both pre-1935 when WRA phased out the original "perch bellied" style buttstock. But I like the later style buttstock better.. RWTF

Mr. Fox: A full-choke marked barrel (no choke tubes). I suppose I should check it and see if it still is? And yes, this later stock configuration fits me very well. I always had to adapt to the older one.

II agree-the post-perch bellied original buttstock will be found on the earlier Model 1912's--Just like a straight hand grip on a pumpgun, some guys like that shape, but I'd bet that most life-long pumpgunners (like me) like the post 1935 design. However, I like the earlier rounded "corn cob" style forearms on my M12's.. That is a fair market price for the 20 gauge M12--if I didn't already have one, I'd be sending you a check. RWTF

Excellent Model 12. If I did'nt own two Heavy Duck guns and 3 other Model 12s....
For an elk hunter whose first elk came from near Mt. Evans, the new Colorado guns laws are troubling indeed.
Readers should review them as a warning to all of us.

Yeah, looks like CO. is playing "catch-up" with Maryland in terms of uber-restrictive gun laws. RWTF

This M37 is pre-WWII so it looks more-like an M17 Remington than an Ithaca. Price drop to $400.

Both guns are spoken for. One went from here, the other from the 16ga.com website. There'll be money for "the Man" when paid...
