That type of gun was sold in the 20s and or 30s with the names of many vendors. I have had French and Belgian guns, very similar marked with other
names. All of these were pretty nicely made , but had sort of deep receivers and narrow grips. I have never seen one with a single trigger, though.

OUs like this one marked Charles Daly were indeed all over the place in that era. Most had bolstered frames and used the Kersten bolting system. My 1936 Abercrombie and Fitch catalog shows one that they imported under their own name. And my 1940 Shooters Bible includes Zephyr OUs that look very similar. It appears that everyone wanted to offer something that competed with the Browning Superposed and were also offered in smaller gauges.
