A nice old rising bite. I have a similar gun serial number 15441 made in 1883. The 27" barrel length probably is from the barrels being cut.

Be nice if all disc strikers could have the same slots for removing them—a proper screwdriver with the center ground out for the striker is all that would be needed.

The right lockplate looks seated a little funny, or perhaps that's just the lighting? Also the rib looks like an odd reblue job, no attempt to recut the address or the matte filing. Finally is that rust (!) creeping out from the left barrel joint in the gap in the bloc? May be some expensive repairs associated with that guy.
