Good morning.
Has anyone here taken a pair of Briley sidekick 12ga to 28ga tubes and converted them to 16ga/28ga?
Seems like it would be possible. The outside profile should be easy enough but the extractor area may be tricky. I have access to a lathe and mill.
I really enjoy my 16ga Ory and Duquenne but trying to reduce the numbers of gages I'm chasing. Might be a fun little project.

Thanks,
Bill

12 to 20 tubes are very thin in the chamber area. You might make or alter a set of chamber inserts like Skeeters from 12/20 to 12/16. I have a set 16/20 chamber inserts and they work well. Just slow to reload.

Looking at their website, the only 16 to 28ga tubes are fitted, and I don't want the original barrels modified.
My thought was sidekicks that are drop in, smaller and lighter.
