Nice looking rifle,,love the M/S's

Wondering how the 270 Winchester (length cartridge) was fit into a 1910 MS action/magazine.
Maybe it's not a 270'Winchester'. Just a .270 on a '56mm case'.

The 1924 Model M/S was offered in 270 Winchester I believe. The rifle may be one of these. Or a highly modified 1910 perhaps??
The rotary mag from a 1924 won't interchange with a Mod 1910.
The Model 1924 was made until 1940

Also the post war 1950 and 1952 which both still had the pre-war features were made on the Mod 1924 long action and would accept a 270Win/30-06 length cartridge.

Seller notes ..'Niedner rifle corp ,MI faintly on side of barrel serial number on underside of stock, import marks?'
\
Niedner's work I would suspect.

The pictures really leave a lot to be desired, the bolt cut out looks kinda weird, I notice the barrel has all the factory? sights/bands still intact.

There appears to a questionable stock repair through the magazine area, and there's an odd glare under the bolt, maybe someone was under it with a file? I like those little rifles, it seems to have the proportions of the short action. So, it's probably not a 270, at least not the standard one, and a 6.5mm rebore to 270 probably wouldn't work. Hopefully, it's still a .375 bbl? I think I would assume the pictures are as they are for a reason.

If the rifle is marked 1910 and the bore diameter (not groove) is marked as 276 (proper for .284 groove), maybe it is 7x57.
