Hi folks. I am on the verge of buying this G.Gamba Pigeon Grand Prix SLE. Boehler steel barrels with 5/8 and 7/8 chokes. Couldnt find any review or reference on this model though. I was hoping someone can help me here.

All the best

It's a German/Austrian tradition i believe. I have another skeet gun by F.lli Gamba, but this one is special. I just couldnt find any reference to this model, usually there is a lot of info on Gamba guns on net but not this one. Being a double trigger gun this one is made for hunting i believe. That's what i am gonna use it for anyway. Thanks for contributing and looking forward for additional info if possible.

When the early 30's Beretta SO3 series appeared, the Merkel was their only real competition. They differed in the hingeing and therefore weight. Gamba likely brought this out in the Merkel style to compete with Beretta.

That is a stunning shotgun. I always loved the trim 3 piece forend look no matter who made them.
