I'm down to my last six boxes of RST 2 1/2" 12 gauge low pressure shotshells. After they are gone, two shotguns will be mothballed and I'm not going back to reloading. Any ideas where to get a couple of flats?
Maybe on one of the gun auction websites (Gunbroker, Guns America) otherwise no. You might try
https://ammoseek.com but I don't expect you will find RST or Polywad, as niche makers they are pretty far down on the list for component suppliers.
Welcome to the perfect shit storm: Covid, politics, raw material prices and shipping issues. And even if you were willing to reload shotgun components are hard to find. 209 primers seem to be running $80/1000 WHEN you can find them, lead shot is $50+ a bag, again when you can find it, powder choices are limited and more expensive (although not as bad as primer & shot) and there is even a back log on reloading presses.
I can't even find regular bird shot locally and online it is running $9-$10 a box PLUS shipping in most cases. I might have enough regular shotgun shells to last me to the end of the year for skeet.
