Seeking some information on a Belgian maker, TW Stake. Never heard of him, and then in a couple weeks time, two show up to be worked on. 12ga BLNE, and a 12ga BLE whose ejectors are similar to Westley Richards but without being contained in a box. Both have “Krupp Steel Barrels” printed in the matting on the rib.
Thank you.

>>The integer value for the tubeset length would have been 28". Not sure on the house number, inspection number, etc. S,D&G had a very large presence at the Sportsman Expo held at the Madision Square Garden and I believe it began 1895. At the 3rd annual event in 1897 S,D&G had a display case of 50 upper rung sporting weapons, which when summed was the most expensive display at the event. T.W. Stake was in charge of the display. By the 6th annual event in 1904, George R. Schneider had replaced T.W. Stake and George R. Schneider also represented S,D&G at many sporting events. He may have also competed? Anyway, it is possible that your recently acquired Daly Sauer gun could have been in the display case as some point. Without the S,D&G records it would be tough to prove.<< https://www.doublegunshop.com/forum...p;Words=stake&Search=true#Post294788S,D&G just named a specific sporting platform/modell sourced in Liège the fella for T. W. Stake. Serbus, Raimey rse

I've seen that interesting 'P' Raimey.
Fabrique Nationale Herstal was established Oct 15, 1888 by Albert Simmonis, Jules Ancion, Dresse-Laloux, M.A.L., Dumoulin Freres, Joseph Janssen, Henri Pieper, Pirlot et Fresart, Credit General Liegeois, Nicolas Vivario, Auguste Francotte, and Emil et Leon Nagant. Syndicat des Pieces Interchangables was established by François Dumoulin, Neumann Brothers and Janssen Bros. in 1898. Not the usual Pieper 'P' so maybe Pirlot?
