If anyone has the set of volumes, 'Notes Round the Gun Trade', by Bernard Hinchley, i would be grateful if you could find an entry for Leonard. As you will know this firm in Birmingham was mainly a maker to the trade and was noted for making double rifles. I am keen to know if there are any references to Leonard making/finishing bolt action rifles for Vickers and Vickers Armstrong, between the wars.Many thanks.

I've had a quick look through but can only find reference to making up bolt action rifles from Mauser but not to whom he supplied them. I'll keep looking because they are photocopies of his hand written notes and not easy to read. Lagopus…..
